Our e-Learning modules are designed to help healthcare professionals stay up-to-date on the latest developments in HIV, culturally responsive care, and other relevant topics. These modules are delivered on the intuitive and easy-to-use Canvas platform. Upon successful completion of the modules, healthcare professionals can receive continuing education credits. Our modules are developed by experienced educators and healthcare professionals, to ensure accuracy and comprehensive coverage of the topics.

Understanding U=U

  • Recall foundational research on U=U 

  • Discuss implications of U=U for people with HIV

  • Educate clients on U=U

  • Address common questions on U=U

Opt-Out HIV Testing

  • Identify rationale for routine HIV screening

  • Define key terms used in RUSH-Link (Routine Universal Screening for HIV + Linkage to Care)

  • Administer the HIV screening test and accurately interpret results

  • Implement steps in the RUSH-Link process

Taking a Sexual Health History

  • Describe the importance of taking a sexual health history in client care

  • Recognize common barriers to effectively taking a sexual health history

  • Demonstrate core skills in taking a sexual health history

  • Apply at least one strategy for managing challenges

Substance Use Disorders

  • Describe the current scope of substance use disorders among people living with HIV (PLWH)

  • Recognize how substance use disorders affect HIV treatment

  • Recall the models of substance use disorder treatment

Harm Reduction

  • Define Harm Reduction

  • Describe the methodology on which harm reduction is based, including the six foundational principles

  • Dispel common misconceptions and/or beliefs surrounding harm reduction strategies

  • Assist clients with incorporating harm reduction strategies to support engagement/retention in care
